My work often follows a narrative theme.
The book offers great freedom when developing these narrative. The complimentary use of image and text allow the story to take on a life of its own. Exploring the physical form of the book leads me to sculptural expression growing out of the story.

My choice of story usually grows out of a specific place. My extensive travels in Italy have led to books such as “Images out of Dante” and “il supermercato”. More recently, I have fallen under the spell of my home town - which has led to “Tales of New York” and “Coney Island”.
