I grew up in Brooklyn, very close to the rides and beaches of Coney Island. This iconic amusement park remains to me the perfect metaphor for the city. The entertainments, shared with a crowd of noisy strangers, reminds me of the feeling I have walking down Broadway or Oxford Street.
