Highslide JS
The stairs rising up become a symbol of people rising up and improving their lives. Climbing up the stairs are three figure sculptures, holding symbols of work.

The spiral staircase which has been the inspiration for the sculpture is an original historic feature which will now be given a prominent position in the courtyard, and become a focal point in its new role as the basis of the inspiring sculpture.

Randy Klein has been commissioned by Thames Reach to create a new sculpture for the courtyard of the new Employment Academy, called ASPIRE.

The Employment Academy is a flagship project which will help many thousands of unemployed and economically disadvantaged people find employment. The new sculpture will provide a focus and inspiration for clients of the Academy.

Klein has previously worked with Thames Reach on a two year Arts Council project during 2001-3. The result was the award winning film ‘Home Truths’.
