Biblioteca Classense

La Via Dantesca was a survey of Klein's work inspired by the Divina Commedia of Dante. It was held at the Biblioteca Classense in Ravenna, a few paces from the 'Tomba di Dante'. The work exhibited included pages from the artists' book 'Images out of Dante', sculpture and large scale graphic work. The exhibition was arranged as a path, echoing the path described in the poem. Text quoted from the poem helped to guide the viewer through this journey.

As a result of this exhibition, the City of Ravenna acquired 'Angel of Poetry' for permanent display in the courtyard.
